The Can Says: "Beer
Extra Strong"
Rortise Says: This
was an imported delight from France costing not a
lot of cash and with a 500ml can it could prove to
be a contender for a Trampjuice award. The picture
of a pirate is intimidating and it feels as if he
is forcing you to drink the can with his pointing
finger and sword. A great can design then!

The
first taste wasn't the best as the beer tasted a
tad flat and sweet. The strength isn't hidden as
well as some supers but the smell is positively
neutral which helps Pirate super slip down well.
The palette has an after taste of some chemicals
which actually detracts from the otherwise neutral
taste of this imported super strength lager. The
blue can alludes to Super T but the strength is
.5% down and the taste is some way off, also.
Altogether not bad but not particularly good
either.
In
Conclusion: This super was a bit of a let down
really, we at Trampjuice expected great things
from Pirate but alas it did not deliver on its
promises. It isn't really a bad super but then
again it isn't really that good a super. Saying
this an 8 pack will get you seriously drunk and
even a 4 pack will get you on your way - and it is
cheap! Therefore we can award Pirate super a valid
6/10 Tink
