Rortise
Says: Around the 28th of December 2002 Trampjuice was brought
kicking and screaming into the world.Graham over
at Superlager
provided us with some help and guidance and the
first review ever offered was that of Co-op super.
More reviews and content were quickly added and by
March of 2003 we had reviews of all the main
protaganists (White Lightning, Spesh, Super T) and
a few surprise contenders (Tourny Bitter,
Rocheforte 10) and these reviews survive to this
day in their original format. At this point only
Rortise and Spooner worked on the site but all was
to change.
The next few months brought reviews of Breaker, Asda
Super, Stryke, Frosty Jacks and Stryke Super. This
was part of the golden era of Trampjuice and we
started getting more hits, almost hitting 10
thousand for the first time in the month of April.
More importantly the Trampjuice team expanded to
include Joescully, Oat Fed Goat and Marakon, who
remain with us to this day. By June of 2003 we
were recieving a massive 39 thousand hits a month,
with one visitor proving to be very valuable
indeed.
This visitor proved to be Mr Goatse who, after winning
our writing competition, became a valuable member
of the team. His review of Ice Dragon still
remains the most popular review on this site. By
the end of 2003 we had many more reviews and more
people had joined the team. Our forum was more
functionable than fashionable but it worked
(sometimes!) This period saw Fosco, Snyx and Papa
Piaggio join the Trampjuice team. They also remain
with us to this day.
June 20th 2003 was the day that Trampjuice changed from
its old design to its new one which it still wears
proudly. Around this time we also got a forum off
some nice guys over at drunkit. Unfortunately this
died in early 2004 but Neo_Ad of Brokenoath came
to our rescue and supplied us with our current
forum.
Early 2004 saw Tink, Maverick and The Zoo become contributors
to Trampjuice and the biggest super of ever -
Amsterdam Maximator be reviewed. The site
continues to be updated and the landmark
Trampjuice Awards are penciled in for this August.
We now achieve over 80 thousand hits a month, a
far cry from our first month with our solitary
review which netted us under 100 hits. See you at
the Trampjuice Awards.
Note: This is a BRIEF history and as such many things,
such as media appearances, the writing competition
and the logo competition have been left out.

birth of Trampjuice then drop us an email at rortise@trampjuice.tk
