The Can Says: "Super
Strong Lager" Rortise
says: Super strong? possibly compared to
run of the mill everyday lagers but not compared
to class contenders such as Tennents or Special
brew. The can quite simply looks appalling and the
unicorn reminds us of Kaliber, which is not a good
thing. The design of the can looks dated and what
little info there is, is located along the side
making it difficult to read. At least the ring
pull opened with a satisfying click.

The taste
wasn't much better than the can design as it
tasted vaguely of soap. 4.2 units per can is still
pretty hefty though and is nothing to be sniffed
at as four cans of this will get anybody fairly to
extremely pissed. However it would be very hard to
drink four cans of this. There really isn't much
to say about this apart from it doesn't taste very
nice. Sorry Asda.

In Conclusion: This
brew looks bad and tastes bad and its only saving
grace is its availability and price. Strange that
for one so available and cheap it goes down so
badly in the tramp community. Compared to its
chief rival Tesco it falls abysmally short. Buy
Tesco Super instead. This reminds me of Kaliber
and that is what I would prefer to drink and so
